WHAT WE COLLECT

Apogee may ask you for identifying and health-related information. Specifically, we may ask for personal details which may include your name and your contact details and may also include the names and ages of your children and other members of your household. Additionally, we may collect additional information about you or your household members through forms you submit to us as part of the student enrollment and matriculation process. This additional information may include sensitive health-related details and contact information for other family members or friends outside of your household. Staff members may be asked to provide their social security numbers and drivers license information.

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER

Apogee will collect and hold your data for the purpose of delivering services and information to you that you have requested and to correspond with you about our camp programs. We use staff members’ information in order to facilitate employment. While Apogee physically maintains your information in our offices and on our servers, much of your data will be stored and managed by CampMinder LLC, which is located in Boulder, Colorado. Apogee has contracted with CampMinder to facilitate the maintenance and administration of our potential, current, and past student and staff records. If you have requested information from Apogee, registered as an alumni, or filled out an application form for a summer program we may include you on our mailing list for announcements and occasional news of Apogee’s promotions and offers. You can opt out of this communication permanently at any time.

The information we collect is only used for these purposes and only kept for so long as is necessary to achieve these purposes. We will never share your information with any party outside of Apogee or those outfitters and contractors necessary to the facilitation of Apogee’s programs unless required by law. We will never give, sell, or lease your personal information to anyone outside of Apogee for any reasons other than those stated in this Privacy Policy.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. WHAT ARE COOKIES
