Last but most certainly not least, we’re thrilled to introduce the folks riding across the country this summer as part of our America Coast to Coast team!
Leader Name: Nicole Greene (she/her/hers)
2021 Trip: America Coast to Coast
Hometown: Park City, Utah
School: St. Lawrence University, Class of 2021
Major: Environmental Sociology
Apogee Experience: Nicole led our California Mountains & Coast trip in 2019

Where you can find Nicole when she’s not on the trail or crushing it in school: She was senior captain of the Division 1 Varsity Alpine ski team at SLU and captain of the Women’s Club Soccer team!
Just a few other reasons Nicole is amazing: She has 13 siblings… well, actually 2 of them are horses, 2 donkeys, and 6 chickens… but she loves them all the same! She has volunteered with the National Ability Center in Park City where she has been a Recreation Program Instructor, helping individuals with spinal cord injuries, adults with Autism, and military veterans on skills like adaptive water skiing, mountain biking, climbing, etc.

Where you can find Grace when she isn’t outside or crushing it on her rollerblades: Grace volunteers with Paper Airplanes, where she is able to tutor English to refugees via Skype. She also is always excited to go out on a long walk with her pooch, Moose.
Bonus reasons to explain how cool Grace is: She spent a semester backpacking in Patagonia doing environmental research. She is in the process of gaining dual-citizenship to Luxembourg. She also runs for the Carleton Cross Country and Track and Field team, and is a member of the Club Hockey team!

Where you can find Mark when he’s not on his bike or camping: Playing basketball, skateboarding, or fixing cars and bikes!
Just a few reasons that Mark is amazing: He has lived in three different time zones in the last four years. He has designed some parts that are in Jeep Wranglers and amusement park rides at Disney World.
