Happy Spring to all! Flowers and trees are slowly starting to bloom here in Maine and warmer weather is on the rise – by George, we should get close to fifty degrees today! It considerably understates things to say that we are looking forward to summer.
We’re happy to announce some exciting news on the apparel front! Since 2009 we’ve been making our sharp-looking Apogee bike jerseys available for purchase to students and their families. After four years of the same jersey/shirt design, we decided it was time for a bit of a refresh. With the help of our very talented graphic designer, Ken Murphy of Murphy Empire, we came up with the new look you can see below. 
The jersey colors are a silver/white base with the distinctive Apogee-red lettering. Without tooting our own horn too much, we think it’s awfully sharp.
And just as exciting as the new design is the fact that we’re keeping it local this time around. This year’s jersey will be produced by Atayne, an outstanding Maine business. Atayne produces premium, sustainable outdoor clothing that is manufactured here in the US. They’re a super company and are worth checking out in their own right at www.atayne.com.
We’re thrilled with the new jersey design – as well as our partnership with Atayne – and are hoping you will be too. The jerseys, in the words of the late Steve Jobs, will be “insanely great!”
The cost of an Apogee bike jersey is $75, and it includes shipping to you. Payment can be made by check or credit card.
We’re pre-ordering the shirts, and they take 4-6 weeks to produce. Because of this, we need all orders submitted to us no later than Wednesday, May 1st!!
