Alaska Mountains & Coast (AKMC)

Our Alaska Mountains & Coasters are riding high on their backcountry adventures in Chugach State Park and saddled up for another day on the trail! Today they’re tackling the Willwaw Lakes Loop, making their way up and over the pass. They’re buzzin’ with excitement! We’re living vicariously through they’re river crossings and moseying through valleys. The group is cozied up in camp, enjoying a hearty meal and telling campfire stories, riled up for the excitement tomorrow will bring!

Alps Explorer (AX)

The Alps Explorers started their day with a bus ride to a cheese farm, where the French guides handed out what they reckon is “the best cheese in the world.” They then headed over Col de la Seigne to tip their hats and say goodbye to Anne, their French guide. After a hearty picnic, they crossed into the Italian valley for a couple of well-earned rest days. They rounded off the day with a stroll beside turquoise rivers and into Courmayeur, where they sampled some mouthwatering Italian pizza! Crikey!

Caribbean Service Puerto Rico (CSPR)

Today CSPR helped rustle up (*ahem*, harvest) some coffee at a farm in Utuado! These folks had a great time doing service with Apoyo Mutuo Agricola. They tucked into some delicious Puerto Rican grub afterwards served by their service partner with fresh fruit from the farm. After their morning of rollin’ up their sleeves and workin’ up some elbow grease, the posse moseyed over to a local “charco” or river spot to swim.

Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)

The adventurers on the Virgin Islands spent the morning lending a hand with some good ol’ community service, and then had the rest of the day to roam the island and kick back after their hard work! They enjoyed a mighty fine dinner and are now cozied up in their lodgings after a round of As, Ps, and a heap of kudos. Tomorrow, they’ll be saddlin’ up for some snorkelin’ fun!

Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)

Today the cowboys and cowgirls of Costa Rica enjoyed a wide variety of Olympic-like sportin’ activities, including soccer, handball, Jedi Juice, and Roll the Dice. With all that frolickin’ and hootenanny, they sure did rustle up a hankerin’ for some grub! They moseyed over across the street for some local pizza. Afterwards, they dove straight into the pool and played more games, making sure to cool their heels and sit a spell before their hike into the jungle tomorrow!

Iceland Mountains & Coast (IMC)

This posse rounded up and hiked 10 miles around Mount Kirkjufell today! Along the way, they enjoyed a darn tootin’ good time with lots of trail games and riddles. The crew was sittin’ pretty with lunch on the beach before hightailing it back to camp to play cards and listen to music.

Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEX)

The Downeast Explorers are getting ready to grab the bull by the horns and head out on the Appalachian trail tomorrow. These pioneers prepared their backpacks and grabbed their grub before settling into camp, taking a nice afternoon swim, and playing a round of cards. As the open trail awaits them, we are excited to see what is in store as this group sets out tomorrow for their backcountry adventure. While they don’t have service these next few days, hoo-boy will we be excited to see what they got up to. Holy smokes!

Northwest Explorer (NWX)

Like lone cowboys on an open, rugged road, our Northwest Explorers had a blast on the fifth and final full day of their backcountry adventure! They are soaking up every second of the North Cascades and taking in all the wonderful sights it has to offer. We bet they’re looking forward to getting the heck out of Dodge tomorrow (*ahem*, exiting the backcountry), and we sure are rarin’ to see all of their fantastic pictures!

Pacific Coast (PC)

Early this morn’ the Pacific Coast buckaroos hitched their wagons onto the open trails (that’s Wild West-talk for riding their bikes) for a sweet day of riding alongside the Eel River. They cooled off with a wade through the campsite river and sat a spell in camp before cooking up some delicious grub and hitting the hay. While they won’t have cell service for the night, we’re chompin’ at the bit to hear all about their adventures when they send some sweet pictures!

Vermont to Montreal (VM)

These riders were ready to giddy up and woke up early to get on the open road towards Montreal. They spent the day riding on their trusty steeds into Burlington and then spent the afternoon doing community service. It was a very fun day filled with joy as the group prepares to go kayaking tomorrow! Yeehaw!
