Hello Apogee followers around the globe! Yet another guest blogger today! Susie Hufstader (yours truly) is one of two support staff working for Apogee this summer. This is my first summer with Apogee (as a staff member), but I was a student on the Cape and Islands, Coast to Québec, and Vermont to Boston trips in ’04, ’05, and ’06.
Enough of that; we all know that you are here to read about your beautiful young travelers, not the young adult in the office. It is a beautiful day here in Brunswick…and also a beautiful day up in northern Maine, where Pete and Jess are rafting with their Coast to Québec 2B group. Sweet! Although these girls look a bit tuckered out after a day on the river…
Andy and Corley’s group crossed the border this morning into Canada!! Woo hoo! Below is a shot of the group tackling one of the few hills they have left to climb on the trip.
We haven’t heard directly from the Pacific Coast trips today, but Alex and Lidia’s group is surfing and Sam and Rachel’s group is entering the majestic Redwoods. So, in the wise words of my mother, what could be bad??
