Alps Explorer (AX)

AX enjoyed a big, yummy scrambled egg and baguette breakfast, followed by a silent early morning game of Jedi Juice to stretch their legs before their transit day. They rode the train to Martigny, where they explored the historic town with Roman ruins and prepped before they begin the Tour du Mont Blanc tomorrow! After laundry and groceries, they played more games, looked at their route on the map, and did their final gear prep before their first day on the TMB! Stay tuned!

Colorado’s Rocky Mountains (CRM)

The world (Rocky Mountain National Park) was CRM’s oyster today, and boy oh boy, did they have fun! These hikers absolutely crushed their nine mile hike up to Sky Pond today. They had a blast seeing waterfalls, looking at the incredible Colorado landscape…they even made a snowman with what little snow they could find! They are having fun, laughing a lot, and smiling even more. This crew is just getting started, they have another big day of hiking tomorrow!

Europe Coast to Coast 1 (ECC1)

Arrivederci, ECC1! After a whirlwind month of biking through seven countries (!), the group said their final goodbyes as they packed up their bikes and headed home. They may be going their separate ways, but we know this fantastic crew will stay connected after the incredible adventure they all had together! We’ll miss seeing their smiling faces on the blog!

Europe Coast to Coast 2 (ECC2)

ECC2 explored Venice and saw all that the City of Canals has to offer today! It’s hard to believe that this is their last full day after their month-long cycling adventure! They celebrated properly with a delicious Italian meal and final dinner, where they reflected on their incredible journey together over the last month. We’re so proud of this crew of bikers!

Maine Coast College Essay (MCCE)

MCCE had their last essay writing and revision session this morning and thanked their instructor Elise for all her great help! Afterwards, they had a sweet essay reading ceremony, where they shared what they had been working on with each other all week and celebrated their hard work. The celebrations continued when they enjoyed their final dinner together out in Portland, and the group reflected on the fun memories that they made together over the past week. We can practically hear the laughter and see the smiles on everyone’s faces!

Maine Coast Junior (MCJ)

That’s a wrap on Maine Coast Junior! After a fantastic week of hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, and making many more sweet memories, the group headed home today. We know they’ll miss all their new friends, but they’ll return home with fun memories and silly stories! Until next time, MCJ!

New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)

NEMC began their last full day together by doing some farm work with the organization Growing to Give. After getting their hands dirty in the morning, they headed back to camp to clean up and get nice and spiffy for their final dinner out in Portland! They celebrated their awesome week together, remembering all the fun things they did and great memories they made. It’s going to be bittersweet to climb into their tents for the last time tonight!

Northwest Explorer (NWX)

The NWX team is getting ready for their backcountry trip in a few days! These stellar explorers caught a ferry this morning. Once in town, they went into town to get their permits, backcountry supplies, and TONS of food for their backpacking extravaganza. They have a fun-filled day of rafting tomorrow before they lace up their hiking boots and start trekking!

Pacific Coast (PC)

This PC bike team had a restful non-biking day today! They had a lovely morning of sleeping in a little bit extra and making a delicious pancake breakfast. Then they had a service day with the South Coast Humane Society! They had a great time socializing with the animals and taking the dogs on walks. The group is going to bed stoked to get back on the bikes tomorrow for another great day of riding!
