Maine Coast Junior (MCJ)
Our Junior crew enjoyed a lovely day in Maine, soaking up the sunshine after a morning of service at The Pejepscot Historical Society. They had a visit from the mail fairy & Apogee Mascot, Monty, during a lunchtime picnic, and enjoyed a delicious final dinner along the coast to celebrate all they’ve accomplished in the last week. We can hardly believe tomorrow brings bittersweet goodbyes!
New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)
NEMC had an absolutely amazing day today! They crushed some serious hiking with their sights set on Mt. Washington! They enjoyed some beautiful views and soaked in their amazing accomplishments. Great job team!
Colorado’s Rocky Mountains A (CRMA)
What an exciting day for CRMA! This stellar crew was on, not one, not two, but three amazing trails today (Boulder Brook Trail to Glacier Gorge Trail to Alberta Falls). I’m sure they passed the time with many smiles, songs, and riddles. (What can fit through the Green Glass Door??) Hooray for CRMA!
Colorado’s Rocky Mountains B (CRMB)
Today our CRMB covered some snow-filled mileage! It looks like it was all smiles as they made their ascent, hitting altitudes so high the snow was lingering from this past winter. Here’s to hoping they made the most of it with an impromptu snowball fight!
Maine Coast College Essay (MCCE)
To take a break from their essay writing and to give back to the local community, MCCE spent the afternoon working with Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program. From the looks of it, their day was filled with smiles and potatoes (typical Friday, amiright?!) as they worked the day away.
Maine Coast Photo (MCP)
Our resident photographers spent the morning taking portraits of one another, and flexing their best photog muscles. The afternoon? A little time outside in the glorious sunshine for some coastal clean-up community service, and exploring Boothbay Harbor!
Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEXA) & Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEXB)
We can hardly believe yet another two amazing trips have come to a close! Thanks for the amazing memories everyone!
Hard to see, but their faces spell out “Happy B-Day Leah!”
Costa Rica Language & Service (CRLS)
Our CRLS group had an absolutely fantastic day today! They are continuing to immerse themselves in the culture with another day of language lessons – they’ll be fluent in no time! They also spent the middle of the day doing some community service. Then to top it all off… salsa dancing at night! Wow!
Homemade tortillas!
Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)
Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened! See ya later CRMC!
Northwest Explorer (NWXA)
This incredible group is still soaking in the wonder and excitement of the backcountry in Olympic National Park – we’re talking wildflowers, snow-capped mountains in the distance, and perhaps even a wildlife sighting! Can’t wait to see their amazing pics when they return.
Northwest Explorer (NWXB)
NWXB is still in the backcountry of North Cascades National Park! They are undoubtedly experiencing some AMAZING mountain views and bonding over the magic of the backcountry!
Pacific Coast (PCA)
Speaking of mileage, our PCA crew crushed over 20 miles before 9:30! Whaaaat! They had a beautiful coastal ride, full of sunshine and a salty ocean breeze. As you can see below, they also encountered some rather unexpected wildlife along the way. GO team!
Pacific Coast (PCB)
PCB today also covered some serious mileage today – 38 miles to be exact! As you can see from the amazing signage, their total mileage also just hit 100 miles (yay)! This amazing crew rode all the way down to Humbug Mountain State Park and had an awesome time along the way!
Alps Explorer (AX)
For our AX crew, today was, drum roll please… glacier day! This team took a fantastic cable car ride and then hiked up to the breathtaking Aletsch Glacier. These views are UNREAL – I wish everyday was Glacier Day! Woot woot!
Europe Coast to Coast 1 (ECC1)
What an amazing day for ECC1! Today they got to celebrate all of their hard work by exploring the beautiful city of Venice. Pizza, gelato, funky pants, what could be better??
Europe Coast to Coast 2 (ECC2)
Benvenuti a Venezia! By golly, they’ve done it!! This amazing group just cycled through not one, not two, but SEVEN countries and has finally arrived in Venice! Che bello! We could not be more excited for this bunch. Now time to relax and enjoy some well deserved pizza and gelato!
America Coast to Coast (ACC)
Another EPIC day for ACC! This crew had a whopping 84 mile ride today from Socorro to Pie Town, New Mexico. Sounds like a good place to be to me, as pie is undoubtedly on the menu. Almost 7 states down and only 2 to go! Wahooo!!
