Alaska Mountains & Coast (AKMC)
Emoji of the day: 🦅
AKMCers are comfortably settling into the backcountry and building up their trail legs! They’ve spotted some cool wildlife and witnessed stunning alpine lakes. No pictures today, as they are still in the backcountry, but we can confirm that they have found a picturesque camping spot in the gorgeous valley surrounding the Williwaw Lakes!
Alps Explorer A (AXA)

AXA came to a close today in Geneva and students began their journeys home. After days of hiking, swimming, and exploring the stunning alpine landscapes, students reflected on their adventures and friendships formed! As they head home, the memories of their time in Switzerland, France, and Italy will last forever!
Alps Explorer B (AXB)

Our AXB crew said “au revoir” today at the Geneva airport with hugs (and laughs) as they departed. We are so proud of everything they have accomplished on their awesome hikes, excursions, and outdoor adventures. They will remember their trip with fond memories of the friendships, yummy food, and many inside jokes. When they fall asleep tonight, students will dream of just one more freshly baked chocolate croissant!
Cape Cod & the Islands (CI)

The Cape Cod crew keeps pedaling through! Today is day seven of ten, and this group is having a BLAST! They’re constantly crushing it with their rides, and today they headed into Wellfleet to set up camp. Finding shade was important on this scorcher of a day! With a tasty lunch in their tummies, the group enjoyed a great afternoon filled with games galore! After a lovely dinner, they settled into camp, anticipating another fun bike day tomorrow!
Caribbean Service Puerto Rico (CSPR)

After a morning of service on a coffee farm in Cabo Rojo clearing new beds for coffee plants, the Caribbean Service group drove to the mountains to set up camp for the next couple of days! Lunch was filled with delicious food and lots of good vibes from the group (and many games)! You may notice that the group is wearing only one color – that’s because it is MONOCHROME DAY! The squad had a scrumptious dinner and is now tucked into their sweet accommodations, looking forward to tomorrow’s adventures!
Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)

Today was a fantastic day for the Caribbean Service Virgin Islands crew! They started with a rewarding morning of service clearing trails with the nature conservancy, followed by a delectable lunch. In the afternoon they headed out to Horseshoe Bay, enjoying great weather and stunning views along the way. The group is cozied up in camp and is looking forward to their exciting snorkeling adventure tomorrow!
Colorado’s Rocky Mountains (CRM)

Today, our Colorado Rocky Mountain group had an exhilarating time rafting, with some even capsizing, but everyone is A-OK! Boy, what a memory! Tonight, they’re staying in Estes Park, gearing up with excitement for some service activities tomorrow. They also had a blast at a local playground, enjoying some fun and relaxation. Adventures and good deeds await!
Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)

Our CRMC campers killed it on their first challenge hike of the trip as they embarked on the summit trail to Chirripó, the highest peak in Costa Rica! In the Cloudbridge Natural Reserve, the group did a “camp” themed day today with songs, riddles, and games like contact and 20 questions. They also had a lot of silly fun times in the waterfalls! Following an awesome hike, they returned to their accommodations, swam in a little pool, and played some more games!
Europe Coast to Coast 1 (ECC1)

Another border crossed as our ECC1 bikers bid farewell to hilly Deutschland and were warmly welcomed by the splendid valleys of Austria! Spirits soared within the group as they beheld the majestic Alps for the first time. They capped off the day with a picturesque loop around Lake Bodensee en route to the culturally rich town of Bregenz. After a delicious dinner, the team is geared up and ready to tackle the Alps tomorrow (with hopes of witnessing Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard’s legendary duel).
Europe Coast to Coast 2 (ECC2)

It was Black Forest Day for our intrepid bikers as they tackled the start of their challenge section with gusto. ECC2’s route out of the historic town of Schiltach led them through medieval houses, picturesque farms, and scenic hilltops into the heart of the German Black Forest. And what better way to fuel up for the adventures ahead than with a delicious Snickers treat at the end?
Golden State Adventure (GSA)

The magical GSA continues as our campers embark on an awesome overnight kayaking adventure! After setting up base camp, they will venture out into the gorgeous bioluminescent waters for a truly enchanting experience. The GSA students are having a dreamlike ocean camping adventure, and we can feel the excitement reverberating through our screens!
Iceland Mountains & Coast (IMC)

Our Icelandic adventurers trekked over to Kirkjufell today where they enjoyed stunning views of the mountains and seas. After a hearty lunch, they took a quick detour to Kirkjufellsfoss where they were mesmerized by the cascading majesty of the waterfall. They cruised into camp early after their big day- the students made the most of their time in Grunðafjörður! The seafront village of Vik, and its magical geothermal hot springs, await them tomorrow. 
Maine Coast Junior (MCJ)
The atmosphere was electric at the final dinner as our close-knit MCJ group laughed and shared stories, bonding as if they had been lifelong friends. Regrettably, all good (Apogee) things must eventually end, and this morning our troopers packed up camp for the last time, exchanging goodbyes and see you laters! We will certainly miss our MCJ students, who brought incredible energy, multitudes of humor, and vibrant enthusiasm to our Apogee family!
Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEX)

After exploring one of the most gorgeous national parks in the country, Acadia National Park, our adventurers are galvanized to take on a greater challenge: the Appalachian Trail! Their first backcountry adventure in Baxter State Park awaits tomorrow, and they are overjoyed to continue their Maine adventures. Extensive preparations are currently underway in the backcountry, so we are not able to receive any photos, but we can’t wait to hear about DEX’s backcountry experience in a few days!
Pacific Coast (PC)

And with that, the tour de PC concludes epically! After three weeks of pedaling, our bikers find the idea of sitting in a plane seat oddly unfamiliar. We can certainly empathize. Following a joyous final dinner that highlighted the strong bond formed within the group, the peloton reluctantly prepared to bid farewell. We’re incredibly proud of everything this group has achieved and wish them the best!
Pyrenees Mountains and Coast (PMC)

Our Pyrenees Mountains & Coast students crushed a hike in Cap de Crues National Park today! They seized the morning and beat the heat with their hike. After lunch, the group spent the afternoon at the beach playing their favorite game, fishbowl! The weather was great and these kiddos are now sleeping soundly, and getting psyched for the Carros de Foc which is a few short days away!
Vermont to Montreal (VM)

VM is cruising through Vermont with ease! The bikers settled into a steady rhythm as they pedaled through picturesque farmland and quiet country roads. Laughter and conversation filled the air, creating new friendships and fostering camaraderie among the group. After a fantastic day of riding, our bikers settled into their campsite in a southern suburb of Burlington, where they enjoyed a hot and delicious dinner. They are now spending the rest of the evening playing fun games and recharging for another great adventure tomorrow!
