Day 19: Wheels and worn-down hiking boots have now touched down in many final cities for various trips! NWX is in Seattle, AX is in Geneva, MSA is in Whitefish, and our PCers are over the Golden Gate and in San Fran! WOOOOHOOOOO! Crazy to think that not even three weeks ago these end destinations were just dreams that have turned into realities. YOU DID IT! Time to celebrate one last day together and then it’s time to go home, get some rest, SHOWER, and dream of apogee adventures to come again next summer! Onto today’s journeys:
Cape Cod and the Islands (CI): Gorgeous day on the island in Oak bluffs today! Emily and Will sent us this attempt at a full jumping pic! Or as their kiddos call it, a “high school musical” picture!
New England Mountains and Coast (NEMC): Cell phone service in the White Mountains? Is it Christmas?! Matt and Midge must have found a glorious patch of connectivity in order to send us this picture from Arethusa Falls!
Vermont to Montreal (VM): They just wrapped up their second full day of riding and Abby and Reuben’s group have already conquered the biggest hill of their journey… aka… THE WALL. This group also encountered some beautiful views and have been making awesome meals.

California Mountains and Coast (CMC): Day Two on the water! Emma and Dylan’s crowd are having a blast and paddling like pros… unfortunately cell phone reception is still lacking in the bay. The good news is that they’re off the water and headed inland tomorrow – and we’ll have plenty of pictures of their kayaking adventures to post tomorrow evening!
Caribbean Service Adventure (CSA): Just like the title says, Lucy and Will’s group have jumped right into their service work again today. Today’s project? Irrigation ditch work!

Montana Service Adventure (MSA): Congratulations on finishing your last day of riding!! Great work, Hannah and Opie’s team! Time to rest those quads and enjoy your day off in Whitefish!
Northwest Explorer (NWX): Here’s a shot from this morning’s hike before kayaking off of Cypress Island! Seattle tomorrow! What a beautiful photo, Izzy and John! You never let us blogees down.
Pacific Coast (PCA): SAN FRANCISCO! They made it! Matt and Jeanne reported a gorgeous ride to their last stop!

Pacific Coast (PCB): SAN FRANCISCO!!! Trevor and Kate’s group are in and ready to explore the city tomorrow! Congratulations team! You made it! Here is the team ready to ride this morning:
Alps Explorer (AX): Trient! It is official, they made it… after a sunrise hike this morning of course! F élicitations on your completion of the Tour de Mont Blanc. And tonight – Geneva. The gang made it to the city by 3 PM – first order of business after their return to civilization? Pizza by the lake, of course!

Europe Coast to Coast (ECCA): Au revoir, Nancy and bonjour Vosges Mountains and the start of a journey into the heart of the Alsace-Lorraine region. Gorgeous riding through Bastille Day celebrations today (if you don’t know what that is, wikipedia has a lovely summary which I most definitely reviewed before posting… no shame)! Jeremy and Mia’s gang is up in Celles-sur-Plaine tonight with one more day of mostly-downhill riding before a hotly-anticipated day off around Strasbourg.

Europe Coast to Coast (ECCB): Faithful readers will know that our ECCA friends had no wifi in Nancy last night – and unfortunately, the same is the case for ECCB tonight. Nick and Christine reported a gorgeous, sunny (wait, what??) day on the bikes today – they’re headed into the Vosges Mountains tomorrow… Wifi tomorrow night!
America Coast to Coast (ACC1): Texas…. it’s a big state. Still rolling through and New Mexico bound (in a couple of days of course!). Josh and Laura’s group traded out their road bikes this morning for these more stylish and comfortable set of wheels… look at that price! What a steal!
America Coast to Coast (ACC2): Five states down, four to go! Judging by the light in this photo, Sam and Ally’s group crossed border suuuuuuper early this morning! Way to get after it, team!
Who ever complained about Mondays? It’s hard to resent coming into the office when getting texts from leaders all night about their group’s accomplishments and amazing travels! I am out of the office for the next couple of days, so I will see you all on Thursday! Good Ship Blog, I leave you to Captains Chad, Shem, Cait, Alex, Kevin, Michele and Elizabeth.
