Alaska Mountains & Coast (AKMC)
The Alaskan Wizards yielded their powers to seize the day with zest! But it was not just any day– it was their final backcountry day! These mystical marvels hiked their way back to the Anchorage front country and celebrated with a food resupply! Ah yes, the Wizards are back in civilization and thrilled to explore Anchorage.
Alps Explorer A (AXA)
Wizardry is amidst the Alps today as the astonishing, awesome, and always-ambitious AXAers got after it! Transit to CABLE CAR to feet and up, up, up they went! This glorious gang then found themselves in a location worthy of their magic– on a gorgeous gargantuan glacier! Then back down, down, down these never-wavering wizards bound for a night of deliciousness and rest.
Alps Explorer B (AXB)
Hello beloved readers. Today is the day. A wizard’s dream. The first day of Tour du Mont Blanc! These wondrous AXBers kissed the pink church goodbye and hit the road! The trek was filled with awe and wonder, including a head-on view of Mont Blanc, as these Wizards took their magic and awesomeness into France. Off to set up camp for a yummy, cozy, restful evening– we’ll need our magic ready to go for tomorrow!

Caribbean Service Puerto Rico (CSPR)
Ah yes, our Caribbean Wizards! What better place than the wondrous Puerto Rico to cultivate one’s magic? The courageous CSPRers traveled inland to the mountains today to a lovely new abode in Utuado and began preparations for tomorrow’s sweeeeeet service day. They swam in La Cañon Blanco (and cast some beautiful spells)! We can’t wait to hear about the wonders and whimsy ahead.
Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)
It’s a mystical Day 4 for these wise wizards. The morning was again spent with The Nature Conservancy focusing on coral restoration (an excellent area for our wizards to share their powers with), and today was purely magic! The evening consisted of Bio-Bay kayaking featuring luminescence, truly a magic force of its own! Much oogling occurred. Stay tuned, wizard family and friends!
Colorado’s Rocky Mountains (CRM)
The Wizards of the Rocky Mountains ascended today. It’s DAY HIKE DAY! And a stunning one at that. Our intrepid wizards began their hike in a cool rain and ended it in sunshine and warmth beside an alpine lake under a bluebird sky. After much magic and memory-making, the mystical CRMers are back at their glacier-adjacent campsite for a night of whimsy and rest. Peace and love from the Rockies, wizard friends!
Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)
Readers, today is a big day for our Costa Rican Wizards. Waterfalls, rainforests, delectable lunch, and many giggles awaited our magical friends as they set off on a glorious jaunt-turned-ascent. The day was topped off with a food resupply and a cozy night back at the casa. Magic and love from our glorious CRMCers!
Europe Coast to Coast 1 (ECC1)
Today was an excellent day for our wizard friends across the pond. The ECCers hit the road rolling bright and early with much anticipation of the magical day ahead. Distance to be covered! Borders to be crossed! Ferries to be ridden! These wizards on wheels took in life on the water with joy and whimsy, then grabbed a yummy bite for lunch. A few more miles and these magical folks waved goodbye to the Netherlands! Helloooo Belgium! Off to camp– what a day!
Europe Coast to Coast 2 (ECC2)
It’s the final Dutch day for the European wizards, and through The Hague they went! From the city to the coast, beautiful beach views greeted them as the pedaling party continued, all the way to the ferry! A bit more pedaling to camp, with anticipation for the Belgian experience on the horizon. Stay tuned for upcoming moments of magic!
Golden State Adventure (GSA)
Do you know what day it is? No? Read on!!!! The Golden State Adventure continues with SO much magic and excitement for today’s kayaking wizardry overnight extravaganza! Once basecamp was set up out on the point, the crew topped off the day with a bioluminescent paddle– ooooh we can feel the magic through the screen! Happy ocean camping, wizards!
Iceland Mountains & Coast (IMC)
Our Iceland wizards awoke to a beautiful, magical rainbow arching over their verdant green campsite. The magic continued with warm cinnamon rolls for breakfast, yum. While kayaking, they were treated to majestic views of Mount Kirkjufell. Our tired, hard-working wizards rested and recharged in the hot tub before their quest to the waterfall. So much magic for these wizards it’s a wonder there’s any magic left for the rest of us!
Maine Coast College Essay (MCCE)
It’s Day 3 for these writing wizards! They got down to business this morning with a writing workshop: magic was cast and channeled into some excellent narratives. The sensational scholars topped off the afternoon with a college admission workshop and the magic, excitement, and questions continued to flow. After an afternoon of fun and soaking up the sun, the magic and whimsy of the day wrapped up with a bit of evening writing. We can’t wait to hear what the witty wizards of the Maine Coast write!
Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEX)
It’s day 5 for the DEXers, and we love hearing about their wizardry Downeast! Today they brought their magic into the backcountry on the Appalachian Trail with a good chunk of hiking– and beauty! These masters of magic, mountains, and mud happily set up camp and hit the hay. No photos today as these travelers are backcountry living! We’re looking forward to hearing about the magic they create in the mountains!
New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)
The wizards are leaving camp! Onto the next! After breaking down camp, they were off to our favorite playground: the White Mountains! Fact: Wizards love day hikes in beautiful places. Off to camp! Setup, yummy dinner, a bit of magic and whimsy, and off to bed they went!
Northwest Explorer (NWX)
It’s day 6 of Northwest wizardry and they hiked out of the backcountry! SO cool. SO much magic. They ditched the bear cans, grabbed their mail, did some stinky loads of laundry, stocked up on some well-deserved snacks and were off to camp! Several giggles and one yummy dinner later, the wondrous wizards of the west (and north) hit the hay.
Pacific Coast (PC)
There’s magic afoot on the pacific coast! What on earth could it be? Oh wait, it’s just our pedaling wizards. It’s day 5, and the team brought the energy through some awesome climbs and tremendous views. Stoked for tomorrow’s service day, the team set up camp and enjoyed an early night. We love our coastal wizards!
Pyrenees Mountains and Coast (PMC)
It’s Day 6 across the pond for our Spanish wizards and they are all about preparation! Transit, laundry, food, giggling. Tomorrow the Carros de Foc adventure begins and the magic is in the air! Love to our wizard friends!
Vermont to Montreal (VM)
The Vermont wizards (who will soon be Canadian wizards) are letting their magic shine through as they make their way north! Serious distance was covered as this glorious gaggle wound through peaceful farmland alongside Lake Champlain. Camp was set up early and the afternoon was spent basking before a yummy shared dinner. Cheers to our wizards!
