Alaska Mountains & Coast (AKMC)

AKMC enjoyed the town of Seward on their rest day today! They spent time exploring the beautiful port town, visited the Alaska sea-life center, played some games, and prepared for their kayaking adventure that starts  tomorrow. We are so excited to see what they do next!

Cape Cod & the Islands (CI)

After a delicious final dinner last night, we said goodbye to our absolutely incredible CI crew today. They had so much fun biking around Cape Cod, and we will miss them dearly! We are sure they will return home with many tales to tell about their biking feats, hilarious stories, and incredible new friends.

Caribbean Service Puerto Rico (CSPR)

Another day of living the CSPR dream! Last night was a birthday celebration, where they celebrated everybody’s birthday with cake decorating and a game of capture the flag! Today, they did more service with Apoyo Mutuo Agricola helping them build a community center. They painted, cleaned, and had great conversations with some of the founders. After their service, they went to a local, special hidden river spot to cool after a good day’s work! Another solid day in the CSPR books!

Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)

CSVI enjoyed a beautiful sunrise hike at Point Udall this morning and took a morning swim afterwards at Isaacs Bay. Swimming before noon? We’re jealous! In the afternoon, they visited the botanic gardens. Tomorrow, CSVI will be in the dog house… literally! They will volunteer with Ruff Start, but it’s pretty clear based on these photos that their time in the Virgin Islands is anything but “ruff!”

Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)

The CRMC team is having an incredible time at their new lodging! They did service with the owners of the adventure center, where they built wooden boxes for hydroponic vegetable gardens! This afternoon, they splashed around in the natural pools and waterfalls.

Europe Coast to Coast 1 (ECC1)

Phew! After conquering the Alps, the ECC1 crew DESERVES a rest day! They savored a slow morning at camp, then explored the beautiful town of Landeck, Austria. Time really does fly when you’re having fun: after three spectacular weeks of riding around Europe, today was the crew’s last rest day before their final stretch of biking! Worry not, for there are still many more spectacular feats (and photos) to come! Don’t believe us? What if we told you tomorrow’s ride will take the group through not one, and not two, but THREE different countries?! Stay tuned!

Europe Coast to Coast 2 (ECC2)

ECC2 is feeling the stoke because today was Alps day! They absolutely crushed the switchback roads while taking in the beautiful alpine scenery and showing off their snazzy shirts. Congrats to this crew for finishing Alps day! To celebrate, they checked out the local “American” restaurant for a taste of home! Their efforts will be heartily rewarded with a rest day tomorrow in the beautiful town of Landeck, Austria.

Golden State Adventure (GSA)

The GSA team hiked their hearts out today on their challenge hike! They enjoyed the scenic redwood forests of California while undertaking the biggest mileage of their whole trip! With so many fantastic hikes under their belts from the last few days, their muscles and minds were eager to take on the challenge. They’ll celebrate with a delicious dinner in camp tonight, and we’re sure dessert will be nothing but top notch for this well-deserving team. This crew took in some gorgeous views and had a great time hiking together!

Iceland Mountains & Coast (IMC)

Today IMC hiked Reynisfjall Mountain! The views of the ocean were spectacular. They saw many puffins (and ate many muffins)! Then our adventurers explored a stunning black sand beach. Another day in Icelandic paradise is in the books!

Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEX)

The Downeast Explorers enjoyed a calm afternoon with some laundry and well-deserved rest. Their exit from the backcountry was short-lived: after resupplying, they headed into Baxter State Park!  While smiling and looking back on the awesome memories they just made, the group also looks forward with anticipation: an attempt to summit Mount Katahdin, Maine’s tallest peak, is on the horizon in the coming days! Photos to come!

New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)

Hellooo New England Mountains & Coast! It was Day One for this group of soon-to-be hiking, climbing, and kayaking aficionados. The team assembled in Massachusetts, enjoyed a few rounds of some get to know you games, and headed up to the White Mountains, where they will begin their New England adventure! They set up camp for the first time, enjoyed their first of many delicious dinners, and snuggled up in their tents to get some rest before their first full day of their expedition! Stay tuned!

Pyrenees Mountains and Coast (PMC)

The second day of the Carros de Foc treated the Pyrenees Mountains and Coast crew nice today! They savored their downhill sections and took the uphills in stride, and they were rewarded by increasingly stunning views of the area around the Estany de Sant Maurici. A delicious dinner awaits them at their cozy mountaintop refugi tonight, where afterwards they will sleep peacefully and rest up for another awesome day on the CdF tomorrow!

Vermont to Montreal (VM)

VM coolly crushed their bike ride today, encouraged by their ride across the stunning Lake Champlain Causeway, which is a bike path that carries riders across the lake! After their spectacular causeway journey, they hopped aboard their ferry, traveling by land and sea! They arrived at their destination with plenty of time for a delicious dinner before resting up for another great day tomorrow! Canada looms on the horizon! Unfortunately they didn’t have cell service today. Stay tuned for photos tomorrow!
