Alps Explorer A (AXA)

Cereal: Nature Valley Granola

After yesterday’s rest day and delicious Italian food, the AXA’ers are back on the trail today! The group’s adventure involved a gap hike with a view of Val Ferret. As they pass through a gorgeous valley today showcasing some of the most breathtaking views on the Tour de Mont Blanc, we think Nature Valley granola is this group’s cereal match. After another ascent, the group reached their rifugio for the night, where they ate a delicious multi-course mountain-style Italian dinner before heading to bed for a great night’s rest.

Alps Explorer B (AXB)

Cereal: Cheerios

Rain didn’t dull the spirits of these tough AXB’ers! As they gently descended for most of the day, they spotted interesting wood carvings and worked on some riddles as a group. Lunch reportedly involved the “best baguettes of the trip,” and they made it to their campground in Champex-Lac, a beautiful mountain town with a picturesque lake, earlier than expected. As AXB completed their last full day on the Tour de Mont Blanc, we feel that Cheerios represents this group well, as they are about to come full circle!

Cape Cod & the Islands (CI)

Cereal: Rice Krispies

And with a snap, crackle, pop- they’re off! This awesome crew had a popping day getting on their bikes for their first ride to Woods Hole and then hopping on a ferry to the beautiful and renowned Martha’s Vineyard. With half the day still left for plenty of fun, this crew popped on down to a beach to explore, relax, and enjoy! Excited for all the exciting snap, crackle, and popping adventures we know this group is going to have for the rest of their trip.

Colorado’s Rocky Mountains (CRM)

Cereal: Honey Bunches of Oats

CRM is off to a great first full day, with a bunch of sweet activities! The morning started off with a great hike along the continental divide trail, a delicious and filling lunch at camp, and then a swim in the very grand Grand Lake! A day worthy of this sweet and classic cereal all are known to love. We can’t wait to see what their next bunch of epic adventures entails!

Europe Coast to Coast 1 (ECC1)

Cereal: Muesli

Wow! Halfway through their trip and crushing it as always! Today’s ride for ECC1 was into the beautiful Vosges Mountains, passing through many quaint towns as they neared the border with Germany, thus the classic German cereal of muesli has been designated to this crew. We can’t wait to see where this international group goes next, and what other delicious desserts from around Europe they get to try!

Europe Coast to Coast 2 (ECC2)

Cereal: Lucky Charms

Today this crew biked to Nancy, France! Beautiful rolling hills? Check. Quaint French town? Check. A relaxing swim in the pool post-ride? Check. Delicious curry for dinner to fuel for the next day? Check. Fun times with even more amazing people? Check! A group of Lucky Charms indeed!

Maine Coast Junior (MCJ)

Cereal: Frosted Flakes

A fun-packed first full day for MCJ! Starting with a beautiful kayaking trip in Casco Bay, I know all of us here at the office are wishing we could start every day like that! With that wonderfully sweet start to the day and the blue box reminding us of that beautiful blue Maine water, Frosted Flakes felt like a fitting cereal for this group. And the sweetness doesn’t end there! This group then set off for Acadia National Park, a delightful and delicious place to spend the next three days for sure!

New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)

Cereal: Cap’n Crunch

And with that, NEMC is halfway through their trip! Today included a hike out to the stunning Arethusa Falls and then a well-earned ice cream in Conway. These awesome campers have been taking charge and getting the most out of every day, making Cap’n Crunch the best cereal for this group of inspiring captains.

Northwest Explorer (NWX)

Cereal: Froot Loops

This crew has had quite a colorful trip so far! After two backcountry trips on land, today they are off to their sea kayaking section! They have packed so much fun into this trip, that Froot Loops felt like the only cereal that would do their trip justice. After a day full of kayaking, this crew will be setting up their base camp on Cypress Island, one of the most remote of the San Juan Islands! We can’t wait for this group to get the most out of their paddling and hear all about it when they get back!

Pacific Coast (PC)

Cereal: Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Today was crunch time for this group of epic riders! Proving no hill is too big, they gained an impressive 4,000 feet with their strong legs and their even stronger determination. Making their way to Gualala also included an endless stream of picturesque Pacific Coast views and needless to say, we are jealous of this crew’s challenging but sweet day!
